The business  was set up by Claire Connellan  a well-known and successful business woman in the town of Ennis, Co. Clare.

The journey for Claire began in 8 Lower Market Street almost 20 years ago where she introduced the popular brand ESPA to the people of Clare and beyond.

ESPA is a very sensual product and Claire and her therapists offered ESPA treatments and retail products to her clients. This venture brought the spa industry in Ennis to a whole new level.

In 2004 Claire opened a state of the art purpose built  Aveda Concept Spa in Summerhill, Ennis bringing yet again another success story to the town of Ennis. The spa consisted of a fully stocked Aveda retail store and 5elements – Fire, Earth, Water, Wood and Air.

A year later, Claire introduced Aveda Hair which uses totally natural product. This enabled Aveda customers to avail of all their hair, beauty and body needs to be catered for under the one roof.

Also in 2004 Claire introduced Environ a South African product founded by Dr. Des Fernandes a  renowned plastic surgeon. Environ is a vitamin based skincare range and specialises in anti-aging treatments. At the Medi Spa the customers experienced specialised skincare treatments and improvements in skin tone, blood supply, elasticity and collagen building documented in the Medi skin scanner.

Claire always had  customer’s best interests foremost and enjoyed treating injuries and ailments, with this in mind Claire’s mission statement moving forward in the world of health and beauty “Look good in the inside ,Look better on the outside” decided to complete a 4 year Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine course followed by Cosmetic Acupuncture.

In addition to this Claire also lectured in the Galligan College of Beauty and Body Therapy  (now known as Pembroke College) where she taught budding students the theory behind the body and Skin  treatments as well as Electrology before entering the world of business.
